Dirk Hartog Island forms the western boundary of the Shark Bay World Heritage area.  It's the place where the first European landed in Australia in 1616 and home to Australia's iconic last sunset.  Enjoy watching the sun disappear into the Indian Ocean, whilst sipping on our signature gin & tonic, perched on 600ft high cliffs.
